ANTIPOLO--Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno starred for Team Liquid as the team advanced to the lower bracket semifinals of the M7 World Championship through a 3-1 win against Aurora Gaming Turkiye in the lower bracket quarterfinals on Friday night at the Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta.

Nepomuceno delivered a masterclass as Yi Sun-Shin in Game 2, as he delivered a savage in the final clash at the top lane to seal Liquid's game win to force a 1-all tie following Aurora's Game 1 victory.

Nepomuceno, the first player to complete a savage in M-Series history, joins Anton "Hiko" Pak as the only players to complete the said single-clash killing spree multiple times.

Following a perfect game as Fredrinn in Game 3, Nepomuceno also started hot in Game 4 with a Hayabusa.

However, Aurora pounced on Liquid's errors in the mid-game and captured the first two Lords to inch very closer to forcing a Game 5.

The comeback began during the third Lord fight when Nepomuceno stole the Lord, and his teammates won a 3-for-1 clash trade.

Aurora completed the endgame attack after winning another 3-for-1 clash during the push to the top lane to eventually seal the series.

Liquid will face Alter Ego, 3-1 winner against Team Spirit in the nightcap, in the LB semis, which for either team will start a Saturday gauntlet for a chance to face Aurora Gaming Philippines in Sunday night's grand finals.

The winner of the Liquid-Alter Ego showdown will meet Selangor in the lower bracket finals later Saturday.
