PASAY--June Mar Fajardo captured his 13th PBA Best Player of the Conference award as he once again dominated the race for the top individual award for the Philippine Cup.
The San Miguel center garnered a total of 1,246 points from a combination of statistical points and votes from the media and players.
The Cebuano behemoth, who was number one in SPs, was the unanimous first-place choice by the media and also got most of the player votes.
Fajardo was personally awarded the BPC plum right before Game 4 of the finals between the Beermen and TNT Tropang 5G at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Just like how he received his previous BPC awards, Fajardo invited his SMB teammates in the photo ops.
Converge rookie Juan Gomez De Liano is second with 732 points, catapulted by a huge majority of second-place votes from the media.
The resurgent Titan Ultra star Calvin Abueva, despite placing second in SPs and also second in the player votes, was third with 622 points.
Gomez De Liano's fellow FiberXer Balti Baltazar was fourth with 456 points, while Magnolia's Zav Lucero was fifth with 420.
