PBA: Justin Brownlee sensational in Ginebra return as Macau sent to 0-3 start

QUEZON CITY—Justin Brownlee remained the Ginebra sensation that he has been for years in his first game back in red as the squad pummeled Macau, 110-93, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Brownlee, who had to wear blue for quite a while either with Gilas Pilipinas or during his loan spell with the Meralco Bolts in the EASL, exploded in his return with the Gin Kings, finishing with 31 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks.

RJ Abarrientos had a solid all-around game of his own with 25 points, six rebounds, and seven assists as Ginebra used a 39-point second quarter blast to pull away for good from Macau.

Damian Chongqui led Macau, which fell to 0-3, with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals, while Jenning Leung added 21 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Tony Mitchell chipped in 14 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists.
