MANILA—A unique concept: free table tennis for pickleball players is Spinora’s innovation in racket sports, the 30th Pickleball Academy in Pasig City.

Founded by Coach Danise Esposo, Spinora is connecting its strong table tennis foundation to the country’s rapidly growing pickleball community, making it an active skill development.

Coach Thor, head coach of the 30th Pickleball Academy, said the integration is intentional and performance-based.

“Table tennis sharpens hand speed, reflexes, and touch—all essential pickleball skills. Instead of cooling down while waiting for your turn, you’re constantly improving,” he said.

According to Thor, playing table tennis improves pickleball performance through: Faster volley turnover, Faster reactions to the kitchen line, Better control for dinks and resets, improved footwork and balance, Stronger spin awareness, and improved focus under pressure.

The initiative allows players to stay mentally hot and sharp at no additional cost, effectively turning idle practice into productive practice.

"Continuous play. Continuous improvement. Continuous community," Thor added.

The Spinora – The 30th Pickleball Academy is located on the second floor of Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig City.
