MANILA--Don Trollano shut the light out of Ginebra with a game-winning three that gave San Miguel a grind-out 85-82 decision in their PBA Commissioner's Cup Easter Sunday clash at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Trollano was open from the right corner, and CJ Perez found him on a drive-and-kick that set up the triple that broke an 82-all deadlock with 8.3 seconds as the Beermen completed a comeback from 15 points down, although nearly blowing a late six-point lead.

Justin Brownlee and Scottie Thompson, known for their clutch moments, tried to send the game to overtime, but they missed their clutch three-point attempts before time ran out.

Perez led SMB, finally notching back-to-back wins after an up-and-down start to the conference to go up to 3-2, with 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals while braving through foul trouble.

Justin Patton added 19 points, 17 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal.

Brownlee Ginebra, which fell to 2-2, with 31 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks.
