MANILA—After winning the Philippine Football League season, Manila Digger FC is set to face Brunei's Kasuka FC in the qualifying playoffs of the 2026–27 ASEAN Club Championship, following the official draw held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Friday afternoon.
The 2025–26 league champions will square off against the runners-up of the 2025–26 Brunei Super League in a two-legged qualifying playoff in August to secure a spot in the tournament proper.
A victory in the qualifying playoffs would place them in Group A of the regional club tournament, where they would meet defending champions Buriram United, Ratchaburi, Port FC, Kuching City, BG Tampines Rovers, and the winners of the 2025–26 Vietnamese National Cup.
During the 2025–26 season, Dynamic Herb Cebu represented the Philippines in the main draw but went winless, managing only a single draw against Selangor.
