Ginebra mauls Blackwater for 1st win in PBA Govs' Cup

MANILA—Ginebra needed quick work of Blackwater for a 115-85 rout in their PBA Governors' Cup match on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Behind balanced scoring that saw eight players in double figures, the Gin Kings repulsed the Bossing from start to finish.

Stephen Holt led Ginebra, now at 1-1, with 19 points on 7 of 12 from the field, including 5 of 9 on threes, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Riley Grigsby added 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block.

Kentrell Barkley had 26 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist for Blackwater, which dropped two straight games after an inspiring 2-0 start.
