PASAY—Australia stomped its class against Syria with a 123-64 beating in their FIBA World Cup Qualifiers fourth window battle on Friday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Boomers never trailed the entire game and quickly pulled away from the Syrians, leading by as much as 62 late in the contest before settling for the 59-point win.

James Justice fired 21 points, one rebound, four assists, and five steals for Syria, which dropped to sixth place in Group E at 2-5.
