MANILA—This August, Adidas is turning Manila peach.

To mark the highly anticipated arrival of global adidas athlete and basketball superstar Anthony Edwards, Adidas Basketball is bringing together fans, hoopers, and the wider basketball community for a week of activations inspired by Edwards' signature mindset: Believe That.

Headlined by the free-to-attend Anthony Edwards Fan Fest on Aug. 15 at Bonifacio Global City, the celebration transforms BGC into Ant's world, with basketball, culture, and community coming together across multiple experiences throughout the week.

Believe That. Tour Merch Store

The takeover begins on Aug. 9, when adidas 5th Avenue transforms into the Believe That. Tour Merch Store.

Inspired by the merchandise destinations seen on global concert tours, the space reimagines the adidas 5th Avenue store through Anthony Edwards' signature peach aesthetic.

Fans can shop exclusive "Manila, Believe That." tees, limited-edition decals designed with local artist Charlie Salazar, and a curated selection of Anthony Edwards footwear and apparel.

The store will also be home to Adidas Philippines' two basketball SMUs for 2026: the Anthony Edwards 2 "Magpakitang Gilas" and the recently launched Believe That. 1 "Tibay ng Lahi", both designed by Filipino creative Melvin Rodas.

Manila, Believe That. Tees and tour-exclusive decals will be available at the Believe That. Tour Merch Store on August 9, with select adidas Stores in the Metro and adidas.com.ph to follow.

The Adidas x Foot Locker Believe That. Challenge

On Aug. 14, Adidas and Foot Locker bring competitive energy to Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater with the Believe That. Challenge, a nationwide 1v1 basketball tournament inspired by Anthony Edwards' fearless style of play.

Players can secure a spot in the tournament by purchasing any pair of the Anthony Edwards 2 or Believe That. 1 at Foot Locker stores or footlocker.ph and completing the online registration process before Aug. 9.

One player will emerge victorious, take home ₱100,000, and receive the championship crown from Anthony Edwards himself.

For fans who simply want to watch the action unfold, the tournament is free and open to the public, offering a front-row seat to some of the country's most competitive one-on-one basketball.

Anthony Edwards Fan Fest

The celebration culminates on August 15 with the Anthony Edwards Fan Fest, taking over BGC's 5th Avenue and C1 Park.

Open to the public and free of charge, the event invites fans to experience a full afternoon and evening of basketball, culture, and entertainment inspired by Anthony Edwards and the Believe That movement.

Visitors can explore interactive basketball challenges with exclusive tour merchandise up for grabs, the Gamer Zone, where AdiClub members can compete on NBA 2K on PlayStation 5 consoles, photo moments and installations created for fans to capture and share their Fan Fest experience, and lifestyle, community, and brand activations spread throughout the festival grounds

Fans should keep their eyes on the streets of Bonifacio Global City as Anthony Edwards makes his highly anticipated arrival to the Fan Fest.

As the sun sets over 5th Avenue, thousands of fans will gather to officially welcome Anthony Edwards to Manila through a live stage program celebrating his first visit to the Philippines with adidas.

Believe That

"We've always wanted to bring Anthony Edwards to the Philippines because we know how much Filipino fans connect with his personality and the way he plays the game," said Dave Sexton, Country Manager, Adidas Philippines.

"Ant represents a new generation of basketball athletes who are as influential off the court as they are on it. The Fan Fest is our way of celebrating that connection while also bringing together the incredible basketball community that makes the Philippines one of the most passionate basketball nations in the world. We're excited to give fans a chance to experience that energy firsthand in a way no other brand has done."
