It's San Sebastian and Arellano in the NCAA women's volleyball finals!

The Lady Stags moved on to the championship series after beating the Perpetual Help Lady Altas, 25-22, 25-20, 25-19, in their semifinal match at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.

Following the result of the Arellano-CSB game earlier in the day, San Sebastian ended up in a three-way tie with the other two teams for first place.

However, the Lady Stags and the Lady Chiefs prevailed after the ties were broken by the point system.

"We're [the Lady Stags] the underdogs because we aren't really that tall, but we made up for it with our speed and desire, those really helped us," said Coach Roger Gorayeb, who now also coaches NU featuring 6'5" Jaja Santiago.

Gretchel Soltones scored 21 points for San Sebastian.
