MANILA--For the second time in three weeks, GlobalPort's Stanley Pringle earned the Accel-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week award after once again steering his team to victory. The said body announced the news on Monday.

Pringle tallied 27 points and the game-winning basket with half a second remaining as the Batang Pier put an end to the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters' unbeaten run on Friday night.

Pringle edged out Talk 'n Text's Jayson Castro, who sizzled a night later in Lucena against Star, and Junemar Fajardo, who outmuscled Greg Slaughter, last week's Player of the Week recipient, in their first meeting this season one more night after.

The Batang Pier, who are now in a four-way tie for second at 3-1, will next face another team in the said logjam, the Alaska Aces, on Friday night.
