QUEZON CITY--Manu Gayoso scored the game-winning triple as La Salle Greenhills stopped Ateneo from a complete domination of the scheduled PhilHealth-City Hoops Preseason Cup triple-header by a 58-53 win at the AFP Wellness Center on Saturday night.
Gayoso nailed the go-ahead trey with 22 seconds left as the U15 Greenies stopped Ateneo White from going 3-0 on Saturday after the Blue Eaglets' other U15 squad, Ateneo Blue, and U13 team scored blowout wins earlier in the day.

Gayoso gave LSGH the lead on a layup with 1:44 remaining only to be quickly countered by a Wak Santos triple 14 seconds later that gave Ateneo White a 53-52 lead.
After a wild sequence within the final 1:30 of the game, Gayoso found himself open from the corner for the winning basket.
Salvador tried to reclaim the lead for Ateneo White, but he missed two free throws off a foul even as Galang sealed the deal for LSGH with another buzzer-beating triple.
Gayoso finished with 11 points and six rebounds for the Greenies, who will actually play back-to-back matches as they will take on the San Sebastian Staglets on Sunday at the said venue.
