MANILA--Mahindra and GlobalPort finally pushed through with the Karl Dehesa trade after a revised deal was approved by PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa on Tuesday.

Both the Enforcers and the Batang Pier had their original proposal approved by Narvasa on April 29, but a late change of heart from the Enforcers forced them to put the trade on hold.

The swap, however, finally pushed through after a third club, the Blackwater Elite, agreed to ship out one of their players.

The new transfer will still have Dehesa going to GlobalPort and Paolo Taha going to Mahindra, but Roi Sumang, who in the scrapped deal should have been bound for Mahindra, will now end up with Blackwater as Keith Agovida, the new addition to the deal, will now join Taha at Mahindra.

Jonathan Uyloan and Mike DiGregorio, who were originally part of the trade package, will stay with their respective clubs.

Dehesa will finally get to be teammates with explosive guards Stanley Pringle and Terrence Romeo, while Taha, who had a recent surge with the Batang Pier, can now further spark his revitalized career with the Enforcers together with Agovida, who looks to get back on track after Arth Dela Cruz's resurgence put him at the sidelines mostly.

Sumang, who struggled because of the loaded guard roster at the GlobalPort, can finally get things going with Blackwater.
