SAN JUAN, MM--Despite getting knocked out of playoff contention earlier Friday with FEU's rout of EAC, San Sebastian still ended their FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup stint on a high note, trampling a sluggish UP side, 82-72, at the FilOil Flying V Centre on Friday.
The Golden Stags bucked off yet another explosion from Paul Desiderio by pulling away for good from the Fighting Maroons in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Regile Ilagan came off the bench to finish 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting for San Sebastian, which finished the elimination round tied with FEU in fourth place at 4-3. The latter, however, owns the tiebreaker due to a 77-64 win on May 5.

Jett Manuel added 10 markers but was accounted for eight of UP's 23 total turnovers.
