MANILA--Stallion coach Ernie Nierras expressed awareness of Voltes' surprising UFL title run.
Behind a huge rebuild during the offseason, the club formerly known as All-Japan zoomed into a share of second spot with three other teams in the league table, eventually settling for fourth due to goal difference.
"You don't take that team for granted. We won't take JP Voltes lightly. We know what they can do. The last time we played, we just won, 2-1. Let's see what happens," Nierras said ahead of their clash on Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium while reminiscing their close showdown in the UFL Cup on Feb. 20.

Kaya, which is also part of the four-way logjam for second, can zoom to first place with a win in the main game at 4 p.m. due to a way superior goal difference that was boosted by their 16-1 rout of Nomads on Thursday.
