Paras' mentor at Cathedral High School and Middlebrooks Academy, in a statement on Saturday, said that Paras' score in his SAT, reportedly at 1750, is well within the US NCAA Eligibility Center cutoff, making him eligible for a full academic qualifier at a US NCAA Division 1 school only that UCLA reportedly set a higher requirement for admission of incoming freshmen.
Middlebrooks also said that Paras will play college basketball and is currently considering offers from at least 80 schools as what the coach said.
In fact, Paras will quickly make an announcement about his new college destination at a later date.
The coach also reminded the fans not to jump to quick conclusions regarding Paras' decision to leave UCLA, especially about the Cathedral principal saying Paras had "a SAT scoring issue."
