PASIG--Phoenix wasted no time in pummeling AMA and took a 109-70 win in the nightcap of the PBA D-League Foundation Cup doubleheader at the Ynares Sports Arena on Thursday.
The Accelerators took an early 20-4 lead and never looked back to regain the sole possession of the top spot in the team standings.
Mike Tolomia tallied a triple-double of 23 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists, while RR Pogoy added 20 points on six triples for Phoenix, which once again established a gap from Cafe France-CEU, which won in the curtain raiser against Blu-Malaysia.
