SAN JUAN, MM--A tune-up match between FEU and La Salle at the FilOil Flying V Centre ended abruptly in the third quarter as the coaching staff of both teams confronted each other for what had been a physical game that La Salle coach Aldin Ayo believed came a bit overboard.
Ayo, according to reports, said that the Tamaraws played too rough on the Green Archers that he even thought the hard fouls were becoming intentional, which FEU mentor Nash Racela denied.
However, a video surfaced on Youtube showing how Ben Mbala did not like a foul made by Raymar Jose.
Taken by Tony Atayde, who previously owned the La Sallian blog "The Green Mind", Jose appeared to have hit Mbala on the face, prompting the latter to confront him about it.
La Salle led, 92-75, in the third quarter before the officials called it a day due to the coaches' "meeting", virtually repeating their preseason dominance over FEU as they won in their FilOil Flying V Preseason clash on June 7.
