MANILA--UST's week has come from bad to worse.

Just less than 24 hours after the Growling Tigers were reduced to proverbial target practice by La Salle's mayhem en route to a 38-point beatdown, this season's UAAP hosts were hit by more bad news, as Mario Bonleon was reportedly out for the season.

The Varsitarian broke the news earlier, stating that the guard will have his surgery on his already fractured left wrist after smashing it in frustration in UST's worst loss in 10 years.

Bonleon, who averages 4.7 points per game will be out for eight months after the surgery, as coach Boy Sablan's Tigers are now looking to find ways to fill up the void left by the veteran for their Saturday's game with UP.
