MANILA--A Kevin Ferrer-Jio Jalalon trade? It is not happening as per Ginebra governor Alfrancis Chua.
"Mali yung naglabas. Ferrer tayo mga kabarangay," Chua, who also serves as San Miguel Corporation's sports director, said in a tweet on Saturday regarding a report that Ferrer will now go to Star and that Jalalon is now the new Gilas pick by Ginebra.
Effectively, Chua also became the second official from a PBA club who announced that his team locked in its pick in the special Gilas draft following Blackwater coach Leo Isaac's statement on Thursday that the team will select Mac Belo.

The acquisition of Belo, Ferrer, and Jalalon to the Elite, Barangay, and the Hotshots respectively will be formalized in the PBA Draft at the Robinson's Place Manila Atrium on Sunday.
