MANILA--James Yap took to Twitter his take after he was traded to Rain Or Shine for Paul Lee.

Appearing to be a "Star Hotshot for life", Yap now found himself joining the Elasto Painters for next season after the said deal was approved by Commissioner Chito Narvasa.

"Nakakalungkot man pero gusto ko[ng] mag-thank you sa Purefoods sa tiwala at pag-alaga sa akin," Yap tweeted on Thursday night, barely an hour after the trade was made official.
On the other hand, he expressed excitement over playing for the Welcoat franchise, where he actually once played in 2003 when the club was still in the defunct developmental league PBL.

"I'm excited to play sa ROS," he simply said.
