MANILA--Manila dominated the second leg of the PTRL Elefante Cup after sweeping Matchdays 3 and 4 of the tournament at the Southern Plains Clubhouse in Calamba over the weekend.
The Storms subdued the Albay Vulcans, 16-14, on Saturday before repeating their dominance over the UB Toros with a 24-4 rout the day later.
The familiarity with the pitch played a factor for Manila's surge as the club played a selection from Hong Kong at the said venue last year.
Meanwhile, Albay had a bright moment in the second leg as the team handed Central Luzon its first loss of the tournament also on Sunday with a 25-8 blowout, avenging its 16-0 shutout in their first meeting last month in Legazpi.

The Crusaders, who mauled the Toros the day before they saw their three-game winning streak getting snapped by the Vulcans, are now tied with the Storms at the top of the standings with a 3-1 record.
The Vulcans are in third with a 2-2 slate, while the Toros remain winless after four matches.
