MANILA--Four teams eye a huge recovery from their respective losses over the weekend as the PBA Philippine Cup resumes on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

TNT and Phoenix entangle in the first game at 4:15 p.m., while Ginebra battles Mahindra in the second game at 7 p.m.

The Fuel Masters look for the win very badly after they got hammered by the Star Hotshots with a 44-point rout on Saturday night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

"We're going to rise from this debacle and come out a better team next game [against TNT]," said Coach Ariel Vanguardia.

The KaTropa, on the other hand, will try to move on from a hot showing by rookie Meralco Bolt Ed Daquioag last Friday night also at the Big Dome.

In the main game, the Barangay finally get to play outside of a Sunday in the first of their two Friday night fixtures in the eliminations of the conference against the still winless Floodbusters.

Both teams aim to bounce back from their sorry defeats on Sunday night at the said Quezon City arena.
