MANILA—Singaporean MMA fans are in for double treats at the middle of the year.
One Championship will have its Dynasty of Heroes fight card on May 26 featuring the women's championship fight between Angela Lee and Istela Nunes.

Three weeks later, it will be UFC's turn to occupy the Singapore Indoor Stadium as it will stage UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Correia featuring the fight between Holly Holm and Bethe Correia and former URCC flyweight champion CJ De Tomas' UFC debut against Naoki Inoue.
With UFC enjoying a wider global reach, the UFC fight card, despite not having a title fight, is expected to have a bigger crowd turnout than the One fight card.
But during a conference call early Wednesday, One president Victor Cui seemed unfazed about it.
"We've always just focused on what we know and believe in One Championship, telling the stories of the athletes. They represent the values of martial arts: honor, respect, loyalty, hard work, humility, and dedication," said Cui.
He then added, "We focus on our story and the story of our athletes."
Cui expects One: Dynasty of Heroes, despite the UFC challenge, to be flocked by fans.
"Things have been doing great. I am expecting another sold-out show," Cui further said.
