MANILA--The PBA Board of Governors agreed to decide the fate of Commissioner Chito Narvasa "during a meeting".

"This will allow for an objective, dispassionate and open-minded discussion among the members of the board to finally resolve the issue in a manner that serves the interests of its stakeholders and the league as a whole," the league said in a statement on Friday.

While it was not mentioned the said meeting where the final decision on whether Narvasa's term as commissioner will be renewed or not, it is likely that it pertains to the board's annual league planning on Nov. 14 in Los Angeles as what the "minority bloc", the group that supports Narvasa, called for in a statement earlier Friday.
