MANILA--Edward Kelly admitted that his knockout over Meas Meul on Friday night at One: Global Superheroes at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay was a "lucky strike" of sorts.
Meul appeared to have blocked Kelly's high kick, but the latter's knee landed right on the former's head, eventually knocking him out cold.
Nasalo niya tuhod ko," Kelly said.
That turned out to be a blessing in disguise as the knockout was felt all over the MMA world with the match being broadcast live on Twitter.
One eventually named Kelly's thunderous high knee on Meul as the GoDaddy Knockout of the Night on Monday.
