PASAY--Just when Magnolia completed a comeback from 20 points down with three minutes left in the third quarter, the emotions rose for GlobalPort.

Right when Coach Pido Jarencio called a timeout in hopes of stopping the bleeding for the Batang Pier, he found himself exchanging words with Terrence Romeo out of frustration to the surprise of the crowd and probably even the televiewers.

But when asked by reporters after the game, that is, after the Hotshots formalized the Batang Pier's implosion, both Romeo and Jarencio downplayed the said confrontation.

"Misunderstanding lang," said Romeo.

"Nagkasarapan lang, pero wala yun," added Jarencio in jest.

For both of them, it was just all about the desire to win especially that only one loss for GlobalPort will mean elimination.

"Alam mo naman si Coach at ako, pareho namin gustong manalo," Romeo quipped. "Lahat naman yun para sa team."

Jarencio agreed with what Romeo and added, "It's part of the game and also of a process na dine-develop ng team."

Jarencio and Romeo quickly patched things up as the timeout continued, and they left the Batang Pier's locker room still in good terms.

"Off the court, walang problema," said Romeo.

"Walang issue," Jarencio further said.
