MANILA--Barring yet another postponement due to inclement weather just like what happened to the scheduled Ginebra-ROS game on Tuesday, San Miguel looks to quickly finish off Alaska in Game 3 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

In their Wednesday night showdown at 7 p.m., the Beermen are vying to complete a 3-0 sweep of the Aces in their best-of-five series.

"Try namin tapusin na, para makapagpahinga kami," said Junemar Fajardo, whose team can get a luxury of resting for at least a full week as the Barangay-Elasto Painters series could only be done by as soon as Saturday following the postponement of its supposed Game 2 because of the wrath of Tropical Storm "Henry".

On the other hand, Alaska Coach Alex Compton remains optimistic on his team despite being at the brink of elimination.

"We played pretty well for long stretches. It's something to build on," said Compton. "I'll go to battle with these guys any day. They play hard. They give you a chance. I asked them to play with passion, and they played with passion."
