TNT cancels protest plans

QUEZON CITY--TNT moves on from its Game 1 loss.

The KaTropa decided to pull the plug on an initial plan to put their PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinal game against the San Miguel Beermen under protest.

"Hindi na itutuloy (It won't push through)," team manager Virgil Villavicencio relayed through text late Monday night.

With the plan now aborted, SMB's 121-110 comeback win has been officially locked in.

Both teams will meet again in Game 2 of their quarterfinal series on Wednesday night.
