BAGUIO--TNC and Fnatic booked berths to the Kuala Lumpur Major after making the finals of the Southeast Asian qualifiers on Friday.
Fnatic, which made a huge shakeup during the transfer window by bringing in Pyo No-A, Daryl Koh, and Anucha Jirawong to backstop the Filipino duo of Abed Yusop and Djardel Mampusti, took the first KL Major spot after beating TNC, 2-1, in the upper bracket finals.
TNC, which itself made some tweaks to its roster, then ousted Lotac, featuring former TNC stars Marc Fausto and Nico Barcelon, 2-1, in the lower bracket finals for the other spot to Malaysia.
Fnatic swept TNC, 2-0, in the championship but not without a funny moment as both teams decided to connive in killing Roshan before TNC called "GG" in Game 2.
