PASAY--Coach Leo Austria revealed on Wednesday night that Junemar Fajardo is set to make his return to play on Saturday night, when San Miguel will battle Rain Or Shine at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan.

"He's raring to play," Austria told reporters.

Fajardo suffered from a stress fracture in his right shin, which sidelined him in the early goings of the PBA Governors' Cup and the fourth window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

Fajardo actually suited up for the Beermen against the NorthPort Batang Pier at the Cuneta Astrodome, but Austria opted to sit him out the entire game.

Likewise, Austria, as he further told the media people, will monitor Fajardo's minutes against the Elasto Painters.

"We will give him some time to play, but it's managed minutes," Austria said. "If there's no pain in the next two days, I think he's ready to play, but the problem na sinasabi natin, he will not get the usual minutes especially if we're already in the quarterfinals."

In fact, he even said that Fajardo could only play sparingly on Saturday night depending on the outcomes of the Friday night doubleheader at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

"On Friday, we will see if we're already in the quarterfinals dahil may laro ang NLEX at Talk 'n Text. Whoever loses in those games involving Talk 'n Text and NLEX, I think via the quotient system and the winner-over-the-other rule, we will be 99 percent siguro sa quarterfinals," Austria added.

The Road Warriors will take on the Alaska Aces in the first game, while the KaTropa will collide with the Magnolia Hotshots in the main game.
