MANILA--TNC said that it will give 50 percent of Carlo Palad's winnings for either of the first three DOTA 2 majors of the season, including the recently concluded Kuala Lumpur Major, to charity.

"This is our commitment in teaching Kuku (Palad) the lesson of his actions and turn his mistake to something meaningful and have a positive effect in the society," the club said in a statement on Sunday.

Palad hurled a racial slur to a Chinese player in one public match which sparked outrage to China's DOTA 2 community.

This led to the organizers of the Chongqing Major banning Palad for the tournament proper, although he was still cleared to play in the Southeast Asian qualifiers, which has just gone underway.

Interestingly, the donation will be given to a Chinese community.

"We will be asking help from some Chinese people whom we know to help us find the right person/group to help. We will keep everyone updated," TNC continued.
