MANILA—Alaska vented ire on Ginebra with a 104-78 blast in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Sunday night.

Two nights after the Phoenix Fuel Masters drubbed them, the Aces turned their frustrations to the returning Barangay, who never led the entire game.

Alaska held Ginebra to just 34 points in the first half before taking an 18-point lead at halftime.

The Barangay got some offensive rhythm going after scoring 29 points in the third quarter, but the Aces held them anew to just 15 in the final frame to lock in the blowout.

Simon Enciso made 23 points, four rebounds, five assists, and one steal, while Chris Banchero added 20 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and one steal for Alaska, which moved up to third place at 3-2.

Japeth Aguilar put up 17 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and three steals, while Greg Slaughter had his own double-double of 15 markers and 14 boards with one dime for Ginebra, which fell to sixth place at 3-3.

Prior to Sunday night, the Aces were sixth, while the Barangay were third, so they just essentially swapped places in the team standings.
