QUEZON CITY--Jio Jalalon thinks that Magnolia came alive at the right time on Monday night when the squad blasted Ginebra in Game 2 of the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"Nagising kaming lahat," Jalalon said.

In Game 1 on Saturday night, the Hotshots committed 20 turnovers, but in their rematch against the Barangay, they only had nine.

"Yung mga mistakes namin, nag-adjust kami. Ayun nakuha namin ng game na ito," he added.

Also, they shot better, making 44 percent of their field goals compared to 35 percent two nights back.

"Ngayon, ang ganda ng ikot ng bola kick pass kami nang kick pass bago kami nakakatira, so maganda yung rotation," quipped Jalalon, who went 7-for-12 from the field for 17 points.
