"This is business, and we have to work with the trade 'coz we're trying to build up for the future," Garcia, who is part of Yeng Guiao's coaching staff for Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup, said on Thursday night after the national team practice at the Meralco Gym.

Aside from Ping Exciminiano, the Elasto Painters nabbed one of two first round picks the Aces have for the upcoming draft.

With that said, ROS now has three first round picks in the draft, and Garcia is now keenly looking at the said event

"As of now, our mindset is to get players from the draft," he further said.

For the meantime, Garcia hopes that his squad will follow in the footsteps of Rey Nambatac, who has slowly emerged as its new star.

"Rey has been stepping up. I hope the others would follow," Garcia further said.
