MANILA--By having the most draft picks in the recent WNBL Draft at 12, Glutagence was obviously the big winner of the said draft proceeding, all the more with Fille Claudine Cainglet, Camille Claro, and Khate Castillo headlining the team.

But despite the early favorites tag in the preseason, Head Coach Justin Tan wants to keep things slow in his team's bid to win the WNBL title.

"We'll take it one step at a time, but we're thinking long term also," Tan said in the press launch of the Glow Boosters on Thursday.

Glutagence looks stacked with draftees Camille Sambile, April Lualhati, Nicole Cancio, Carol Sangalang, Raiza Palmera, Monique Del Carmen, Samantha Tan, Ayra Hufanda, and Camille Ramos and protected players Nicole De Los Reyes, Micah Figuracion, and Julie Gula completing the roster.

"Yung mga na-pick naming players are very dedicated and may talent talaga," Justin Tan further said.

But returning squads Navy Lady Sailors, who will bring in a roster fully consisting of enlisted personnel, and Paranaque Lady Aces, who made the most of the protect player clause by directly hiring seven seasoned ballers including Clare Castro and Allana Lim, even fellow expansion teams Pacific Water Queens and Quezon Lady Spartan, and a sixth franchise, which according to WNBL executive vice president Rhose Montreal could be unveiled in a few days time, could pose a challenge.

Tan, also the owner of MPBL team Mindoro Tamaraws, is aware about this, so he assured that the Boosters will do whatever it takes to win their first WNBL crown.

"I know madaling sabihin, pero we're gonna work hard," he vowed in behalf of the team.
