MANILA—In a rare moment, the PBA announced a trade approval at nighttime.

The league's trade committee has approved the swap sending Jvee Casio and Barkley Ebona to Blackwater and Mike Tolomia and Blackwater's second-round draft pick for Season 48 to Alaska.

However, while it may seem like the PBA already approved the trade by daytime, it was only made official at night, a few hours after offices are supposed to be closed already.

Nevertheless, the PBA approval formalized the entry of Casio and Ebona as the next pieces in the Bossing's major roster overhaul under new coach Ariel Vanguardia.

The Aces, on the other hand, acquired Tolomia, who has seemingly regained his explosive touch that made him a key player during his amateur days following his stellar stint in what was otherwise a forgettable campaign for the Bossing in the Philippine Cup.
