MANILA—San Miguel has let go of Diamond Stone a day after the team was mauled by Bay Area.

However, the Beermen will still not recruit highly-touted Thomas Robinson.

In a report by the PBA website on Monday night, SMB is bringing in Devin Scott ahead of a busy stretch that will see the team play four games in eight nights.

Scott is listed at six feet and nine inches, well within the 6-feet-10 height limit for the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, the 28-year-old American played in Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Israel, and most recently in South Korea.

Scott last played for the Incheon Elephants in the team's final season before moving to Daegu to become the Pegasus.

Scott is expected to arrive in the Philippines by Tuesday.

The Beermen begin their busy mid-conference schedule with a Friday night showdown against the Converge FiberXers.
