MANILA--After nine months of wait, LA Tenorio finally played his 745th PBA game, and like his battle with colon cancer, he was victorious in his return.

Ginebra won in Tenorio's first game back on Sunday night, pipping Terrafirma, 110-99, in a PBA Commissioner's Cup game at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Tenorio started the game and tallied six points on a perfect 2-for-2 clip from long range with one rebound, three assists, and one steal.

However, Tony Bishop and Christian Standhardinger put on a show for the Gin Kings as they quickly stopped the Dyip from spoiling Tenorio's homecoming.

Terrafirma still took a 29-25 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Ginebra went on a 28-13 second quarter to take a 53-42 lead at halftime.

The Gin Kings scored 30 more points in the third quarter to up their lead to 15 entering the fourth and never looked back from there.

Bishop led Ginebra, now at 4-1, with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, one block, and two steals, while Standhardinger added 24 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, one block, and two steals.

Javi Gomez De Liano made 22 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals, while Thomas De Thaey added 18 points, 14 rebounds, and one steal for Terrafirma, which fell to 2-4.
