QUEZON CITY--Beau Belga notched some franchise history for Rain Or Shine as he led the team to a 110-90 blowout win against Converge in their throwback night on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Donning their Welcoat jerseys for the first time since 2008, the Elasto Painters--er, the Dragons--banked on Belga's leadership to rip the FiberXers, especially in the final three quarters where they pulled away for good.
Belga finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists, becoming the first Welcoat/ROS local to notch a triple-double in franchise history.
Belga went 9-for-13 from the field including 4-of-5 from three-point range along with one block and one steal.
Santi Santillan added 23 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists as the Elasto Painters now won back-to-back games after a 0-4 start.
Andrei Caracut had a double-double too with 15 points and 13 assists with one rebound even as he went 6-for-8 from the field.
Justin Arana put up 20 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals for Converge, which fell to 0-6.
