MANILA--From buzzing around in black and gold, "Pheww", "Super Marco", "FlapTzy", "KyleTzy", "Owgwen", and "Pando" are now fully soaring in green.
The stint of Angelo Arcangel, Marco Requitiano, David Canon, Michael Sayson, and Rowgien and Vincent Unigo with Team Falcons Philippines will continue after the ongoing Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge Finals as they will also be the team's inaugural roster when the newly-founded Philippine arm of the Saudi Arabian club will enter MPL Philippines beginning Feb. 28.
Falcons PH officially announced on Tuesday that it will now fully adopt AP Bren's former main roster for the domestic league battle.
Speculation about Falcons PH absorbing the old AP Bren squad grew when the former announced it would adopt the latter for Snapdragon.
However, it is not exactly a lock-stock-and-barrel acquisition.
Jab Escutin and Francis "Duckey" Glindro, who left AP Bren at the height of the roster rumors, will not join Falcons PH, at least not for now.
Robert "Trebor" Sanchez, who is mentoring the team in Snapdragon, will remain Falcons PH's head coach for MPL PH, while Ren Vitug will manage the team.
Glindro concluded his statement on Monday with "LFT" which means "looking for a team", essentially implying that he is now a free agent and can sign up with any team.
On the other hand, a new AP Bren squad will be unveiled on Wednesday as announced by the organization last week.
