MANILA—If there is one thing Justin Brownlee is looking for in Game 5 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals, it would be the rhythm that kept Ginebra afloat in the first half of Game 4 that he prefers to be sustained all game long.
The newly-crowned PBA Commissioner's Cup Best Import of the Conference conceded that the Gin Kings lost steam in the second half that enabled the TNT Tropang 5G to pull away for the 106-98 win.
"I've got to give a lot of credit to TNT. They came out and played very well, especially in the second half. They were the aggressors (last Wednesday). I think we lost our rhythm in the second half, especially offensively," Brownlee said.
Ginebra's resident import added that the second half is something they should solve if they want not just to bounce back but also secure a pivotal 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
"We've got to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we can do better, especially in the second half," Brownlee further said.
A huge Independence Day crowd is expected at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Friday night as both the Gin Kings and Tropang 5G square off again for a chance to go one win closer to the championship.
