PBA: Justin Brownlee preserves Stephen Holt's hot start for 2-1 Ginebra lead vs TNT

PASAY—Justin Brownlee finished the job for Ginebra after Stephen Holt provided the early spark en route to a 116-102 blowout against TNT in Game 3 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals in front of a season-high 18,607 fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday night.

Brownlee fired 41 points on 16 of 21 shooting to lead the way for the Gin Kings, who despite yet another fourth quarter threat from the Tropang 5G held on and kept the huge lead in the end.

Brownlee also had a solid all-around performance with seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals as Ginebra moved up to a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven affair.

Holt added 23 points, 15 in the first quarter, on 6 of 9 shooting from the outside, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in his best performance so far in the championship round after tallying just one point after two games.

Scottie Thompson tallied a triple-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists along with one steal.

Chris McCullough led TNT with 44 points on 16 of 30 shooting, 13 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks, but he committed seven turnovers.

RR Pogoy came alive in the second half and added 28 points on 8 of 15 shooting from deep, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
