MANILA—Abra gave the Ildefonso Brothers a great farewell gift before loaning them to Strong Group Athletics for the Jones Cup with a 110-84 rout of Bulacan in their Wednesday MPBL clash at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum.
In the game that was not broadcast due to sudden technical difficulties, the Weavers showed their championship poise and outscored the Kuyas, 55-25, in the first half.
Abra preserved its huge advantage in the second half.
Dave Ildefonso went 9-for-14 from the field for 23 points with two rebounds, seven assists, and one steal for the playoff-bound Weavers, who moved up to 19-1.
Raven Gonzales and Alfred Batino each added 13 markers.
DJ Fenner, who will also join SGA in Taipei, did not suit up.
