MANILA—Rondae Hollis-Jefferson played probably his best game back from an Achilles tendon injury and lifted TNT past Magnolia 91-73 in Game 2 of the PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday night at the Ynares Center 1 in Antipolo.

Hollis-Jefferson dropped 39 points on 13-for-26 shooting, including an impressive 4 of 5 clips on three-pointers, to lead the Tropang 5G, who are now on the verge of sweeping the Hotshots.

The former NBA veteran and Jordan international also tallied 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks as TNT can now close out the series on Saturday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Brandon Rosser added 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting, three rebounds, three assists, and one block.

KJ Buffen led Magnolia, which now needs to complete a reverse sweep of the best-of-five series to preserve its top seed status, with 24 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
