Jamike Jarin will take over Boyet Fernandez as the head coach of the San Beda Red Lions in the next NCAA season.

The current national youth team coach will be in charge of steering the Red Lions to a six-peat with Fernandez returning to NLEX, now with the PBA.

His tenure will begin immediately after San Beda's campaign in the PCCL.

Assistant Coach Adonis Tierra will temporarily coach the Red Lions in the national collegiate tournament.

San Beda, along with fellow NCAA finalist Arellano, clinched an automatic berth in the Elite 8.

Also into the eight-team round are UAAP finalists NU and FEU; and CESAFI championship contenders SWU and USC.

The six teams await the winners of the Luzon and the VisMin regionals.
