MANILA--A familiar face will bolster Alab in its upcoming ABL campaign.
The club announced on Tuesday that Ivan Johnson will be its world import for the upcoming 2018 season.
Johnson once played for TNT in the PBA, anchoring the team's successful championship campaign in the 2015 Commissioner's Cup.
However, it was in the next edition of the mid-season conference where he became more well-known in a not-so-good manner.
Johnson, after getting ejected in the KaTropa's game against the Meralco Bolts, lashed out at Commissioner Chito Narvasa, leading to a PHP250,000 fine and a one-year ban. Johnson would apologize to Narvasa for the said unsportsmanlike conduct.

Now, Johnson gets a reunion project with Coach Jimmy Alapag, who was TNT's team manager when the team won the 2015 Commissioner's Cup title, at Alab.
