BINAN--During his stint with Laos in the UFL, Aaron Altiche was somehow being overlooked due to his team having moribund campaigns.
Now a part of JPV Marikina in the PFL, Altiche is making a career resurgence.
That was evident on Sunday night when he scored the winning goal for the club on the road against Stallion Laguna at the Binan Football Stadium to stay perfect in the season.

However, Altiche admitted to Dugout Philippines during the post-match press conference at the Alonte Sports Arena that he could not believe he saved Marikina from splitting the points with Laguna.
"Hindi nagsi-sink pa eh," Altiche said.
He even bared that the play was not exactly for him.
"Si Keigo [Moriyasu], magaling sa mga touch passes. Binigay niya kay [Ryuki] Kozawa. Tapos nakita ako ni Kozawa. Napunta sa akin ang bola. Sa pag-control ko, hindi ko na tinignan yung goal," Altiche relayed how that goal, which was scored with essentially only 23 seconds left in the match, happened.
That goal gave Marikina a positive result in what had been a hard-fought match against Laguna.
"We deserve to win," continued Altiche. "Motivated kami na maglaro pa."
