MANILA--The PBA Commissioner's Cup may just be midway into its elimination round, but Blackwater and Ginebra are going Governors' Cup mode now.

Both the Elite and the Barangay decided to undergo import changes, bringing in their respective resident Governors' Cup imports as the league is currently on its All-Star break.

Henry Walker and Justin Brownlee will come on for Blackwater and Ginebra for Jarrid Famous and Chuck Garcia respectively, as confirmed by their player agent Sheryl Reyes on Twitter.

Both the Barangay and the Elite are having dismal campaigns in the mid-season with the latter still winless after six games.

Blackwater actually got blown out in its last game against a TNT side which played all-Filipino after letting go of import Jeremy Tyler with Famous, who only made 11 points in the said game.

"Hindi ako satisfied sa laro niya," said Coach Bong Ramos on Famous' odd showing that time.

On the other hand, Coach Tim Cone looked poised to go for a triple-tower combination with Garcia, Greg Slaughter, and Japeth Aguilar manning the frontline following Ginebra's win over Blackwater.

But with Garcia struggling from the free throw line and even fouling out in the regulation of the Barangay's loss to the Phoenix Fuel Masters on Sunday, Cone opted to activate Brownlee, who was actually scheduled to be their import for this conference only that his stint with Alab Pilipinas in the ABL conflicted with the PBA schedule.
