MANILA—Marc Pingris is joining Imus after all.

The PBA legend formally signed with the Bandera for the ongoing MPBL season.

The team made the announcement on its Facebook page on Thursday night, ending days of speculations on where the six-foot-six power forward is heading next after he resigned as PSL commissioner.

A week after initial reports of Pingris joining Imus surfaced, Pampanga, fresh from winning the PSL Dumper Cup title, announced that he has been inserted into its own MPBL lineup.

A source previously said that Pingris denied the initial rumors of him unretiring to join the MPBL in a PSL meeting, but the 41-year-old bruiser will now join forces with fellow former PBA players Mac-Mac Cardona, Marvin Hayes, Carlo Lastimosa, and Brian Faundo at Imus.

It remains to be seen, though, if Pingris will be activated for the team's Friday night game at Rizal.

If he will indeed play, however, Pingris will make his MPBL debut in the arena where he last won a PBA title, the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
